* Thailand remains one of the largest tourism destinations in Asia, despite a slight slowdown compared to 2025.
* Vietnam is showing very strong growth and may become the fastest-growing tourism market in Southeast Asia in 2026.
* Japan continues to attract record visitor numbers from South Korea, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and the U.S., although Chinese tourism has dropped sharply due to political tensions.
* South Korea recorded all-time high tourism in March 2026, partly driven by K-pop tourism and the return of BTS activities.
* Philippines continues steady tourism recovery, reaching about 1.83 million arrivals in the first quarter.
