The local government of Santa Fe has assured tourists that the island town remains safe and tourism activities remain fully operational there following the magnitude 6.9 earthquake that struck northern Cebu late last month.

𝗡𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗡 𝗖𝗘𝗕𝗨 𝗕𝗨𝗦 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) announced that public utility buses remain operational despite the recent 6.9 magnitude earthquake. However, adjustments have been made to certain routes.

1. Cebu–Bogo: Operational
2. Cebu–Sogod: Operational
3. Cebu–Tabogon: Operational, but trips are dispatched only up to Sogod due to the Tabunok Bridge being not passable
4. Cebu–Daanbantayan: Operational, but buses are diverted to the mainline route as the Medellin Bridge is not passable
5. Cebu–Tuburan: Operational, but trips are dispatched only up to Brgy. Gumbang due to bridge damage
6. Cebu–Maya via Bagay: Operational, but diverted to the mainline route because Calape Bridge is damaged
