NEW BUS TRIPS | Through the initiative of City Mayor Maria Gina M. Lizares and in cooperation with the management of Vallacar Transit Inc. through Mr. Renie Vecinal, Operations Manager and Mr. Candelario Lumada, Branch Manager of Dumaguete Branch, several new AIR-CONDITIONED bus trips from Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental to Sipalay City, Negros Occidental and vice versa are now operational starting today, May 7, 2025.
Due to several bus permits still being processed by the management, not all trip schedules are operational as of the moment. However, the bus management has assured that all trip schedules will be operational by May 10, 2025.

Mayor Lizares hopes that this will provide convenience for the Sipalaynons and the travelling public. She is optimistic that this will also further boost the economy of the city especially the tourism industry through the arrival of tourists from Negros Oriental and other nearby provinces.
