LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL AS DESIGNED BY THE LORD! This was Fr. Fernando's message on the December 2019 issue of the Missionaries' Newsletter.

He always lived making the best out of everything within reach. His gospel was always to live life to the full. Do not settle for what is comfortable, for what is easy.

While we all feel the immense vacuum created by his leaving, we are also given the strong assurance that we have a very powerful intercessor before the Lord, together with Mama Mary, the angels and the saints.

The Missionaries, with the leadership of Fr. Jeff Shannon, with the wisdom nad huidance of Bishop Antonio Palang, DD and Bishop Wilfredo Manlapaz, DD will continue to bring to life the mission that Fr. Fernando has received through the Church.

Thank you for partnering with the Missionaries of Mary Mother of the Poor (MMMP). The mission has to flourish!

It is with deep sorrow that we share with you the passing of our beloved Fr. Fernando “Do” Suarez, who joined our Lord on 04 February 2020.

Fr. Do’s remains will temporarily lie at Heritage Park, - Taguig Chapels 2,3,4 starting 05 February 2020, 1pm until 06 February 2020, 6am. Thereafter, he will be transferred to his hometown, Butong Taal, Batangas starting 06 February 9am. Internment to be advise later.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made only under the name of Missionaries of Mary Mother of the Poor Inc (MMMP) with Chinabank account no. 1461 0000 0665 to continue the ministry he has started with his missionary congregation.

He died while gathering Priests Tennis Players all over the Philippines in celebration of his 53rd birthday.

This is his way to unite priests every year. The winners will join the pilgrimage to Holy Land and some will represent the Annual International Priests Tennis Tournament in Europe.

He left us knowing that everything has been organized for his annual outreach together with the Missionaries of Mary Mother of the Poor Congregation (MMMP):

A)MEDICAL-DENTAL MISSION in Butong Taal Batangas and Ilin Island, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro;

B) Two (2) Mass Weddings in Ilin Island.
