Sea Turtle Lagoon Resort is a family run and owned resort. It all started when a couple from the United Kingdom decided to retire in the Philippines. The brother of the current owner Sally Kelly found a cliff side property that reminded him of their also cliffside manor in Scotland. She fell in love with the 4 hectares property right away and turned it into a Paradise garden on a cliff in Cebu. The place was only supposed to be for her and her late husband’s retirement. But it gained a lot of attention and attracted so many visitors that she and her family decided to open its doors to public.

What to expect at Sea Turtle Lagoon Resort?

It’s not a 5 star hotel and resort. So, don’t expect butlers and servants at your every beck and call. BUT do expect...

To experience a comfortable stay in your very own cottage or villa.

Waking up seeing a beautiful sunrise, a marvellous sea view, and garden view. Nothing beats seeing butterflies working their way with flowers whilst walking around.

Seeing a Very Starry Sky at night. The light pollution is close to zero in our location. You could actually see the satellite move around from the sky. If you have a telescope with you, we recommend stargazing with your love one.

Have and enjoy fresh seafoods delivered by the local fishermen. And fresh local produce vegetables. We make good food.

Animals. We have resident friendly dogs, cats, and two rescued monkeys living in their own tree. These animals do not hurt. And yes, butterflies.

Flowers. Lots and lots of flowers and trees.

Friendly staff and the owners themselves. Strike a conversation with us. We would love to hear from you. Especially over food and wine.

Sea turtles and fishes swimming around the sear near the resort in either the morning or late afternoon till night time. Fishermen don’t fish on the waters several meters away from the property. Making sea creatures happily flourish.

Capitancillo Islet. A lighthouse island with white sand beach, stunning coral reefs, and rich marine life. A popular to go to spot for divers.

Malapascua Island. Popular for diving, divings spots, white sand beach, light houses, marine life, and the very shy thresher shark
