Our Story

Welcome Home Pensione offers you a choice of 28 affordable budget, standard and suite rooms when staying in Tacloban. We have rooms that can accommodate from 1 up to 6 persons per room. Guests enjoy free unlimited brewed coffee and free WiFi Internet access at our ground floor lounge and garden cottage area. Ecologically-friendly bare soap bars, shampoo dispensers in all showers, and use of energy-efficient LED light bulbs in our facilities, are our simple contribution in promoting a more sustainable business and lessening negative impact on our environment.

As part of our Business Continuity Plan (BCP), we implemented our CLEAN HOME Program since February 2020 to assure you of our commitment to offer a sanitized and safe stay with us for everyone’s well-being and peace of mind. Our CLEAN HOME Program is a wholistic and systematic approach to care for your well-being as guests in our home, and take care of our pensione staff who help keep our business operational during this ongoing health crisis. We implemented enhanced cleaning protocols and housekeeping procedures to assure you that our guest rooms and facilities are maintained well above minimum public health standards for a simple accommodation/lodging-only establishment. We have also updated our House Rules effective 18 May 2020 for your guidance and compliance when we resumed operations after Tacloban City LGU released Executive Order No. 2020-05-023 dated 15 May 2020, allowing accommodation establishments to reopen from 16 May 2020 onwards.
