Actually had other plans where to try food but ended up here. Rumbling stomach really is a factor in postponing long travels for immediate yummies.
Zushi Me Lake View in Tagaytay City is one of the most accessible places to eat ramen in a relatively cold place.
Located near the Rotunda, going there will not take you two minutes from the said landmark.
The ramen is good. It almost tastes like Akiro’s in Silang. The broth is mild in flavor and a bit spicy but not extreme. The noodles are a bit glassy while toppings are the familar bean sprouts, egg, black sesame seeds, nori, naruto, and chashu.
Gyoza, one of the most common sides for ramen, is served deep fried. I actually prefer the pan fried ones but this tastes good too.
Quite on the pricey end but the view of the Taal Lake while slurping the hot bowl will somehow make you feel ok. The Ramen Set costs 450 pesos (and 45 pesos for service charge).
