TAAL ALERT (LEVEL 3)

Nagkaroon ng steam-driven o phreatic na pagputok ang Bulkang Taal na nagsimula 3:16 to 3:21PM.

Nag-umpisa na po ang evacuation preparations ng lalawigan at ng Tagaytay City. Ang hanging habagat ay maaaring magdala ng matinding abo kapag ito ay umabot sa Alert Level 4-5.

The Provincial Government of Cavite is in close coordination with the officials of the LGU’s surrounding Taal. We have enough food stocks to last for 5 days. Over 100 vehicles are being mobilized to help with the evacuation. Antigen test kits are also on standby for the evacuation areas.

Ep. 1 GUIDELINES

Isang malaking pag-unawa ang hinihiling ko sa inyo dahil sa aking pagbawi kahapon sa original post ko.

Tinawagan po kasi ako ni SPOX Harry Roque na mag hunos-dili muna hanggang manggaling ang announcement sa kanya.

Ito po ang ilan sa mga guidelines ng IATF:

1. “Authorised Persons Outside Residence” (APOR) rule is to be strictly followed & implemented.

2. Essential movement of people are only allowed for groceries, pharmacies, banks, remittance centers and for medical facilities.

3. Public loitering is not allowed. Kung hindi lang APOR ay strictly stay at home ang orders.

4. Leisure activities are not allowed such as walking, jogging, zumba, tambay and parties.

5. No Q-Pass required but barangay officials shall check and enforce APOR.

6. Essential industries such as food and agriculture shall remain open.

7. Malls will be closed. Only essential establishments such as supermarkets, groceries, pharmacies, and restaurants on a strict take home and delivery system is allowed.

8. Public Transportation is allowed.

9. Jowa passes are cancelled.

10. Public consumption of liquor is not allowed. Bawal tambay-inom-karaoke.

11. Mass gatherings of more than 10 people are not allowed.

12. All hotels, motels, and resorts will be closed unless use is provided by law such as those for quarantine purposes.

13. The new ECQ takes effect at March 29 (monday) midnight. The effectivity shall be decided on a week to week basis.

14. Golf courses shall remain closed for all age groups.

15. Salons, barbershops and computer internet shops shall remain closed.

16. Please wait for further announcements regarding government offices such as SSS, GSIS, NSA, NBI, etc.

17. Construction shall be allowed both public and private provided guidelines set by DPWH/DOH are followed.

18. Hardware stores can operate.

19. Curfew is set from 6PM to 5AM. Exempted are essential workers and emergency.

Please do NOT go on a panic buying spree. Groceries and other essentials shall remain open.

Pakiusap lamang at lahat naman nang ito ay para sa atin lahat. 10K average a day na ang mga positibo at sa 2.5% fatality rate ay may approx. 250 per day ang nanganganib ang buhay.

Puno na ang mga hospital at hindi na kayang tumanggap ng mga pasyente. Ang average waiting time for admission is now at 10 days.

Mas mabuti na ang mag-ingat kaysa magsisi. Prevention is better than cure.

Because of the increased volcanic activity of Taal Volcano and the increasing numbers of Covid infection within the city, placing the entire province of Cavite under GCQ, we once again closed our doors to the public until further notice.

For those guests with advance booking, kindly coordinate with your travel agency for the cancellation or rebooking process.

Due to the increased unrest of the Taal Volcano and registering more than 200+ volcanic quakes for the past few days, Destination Hotel Tagaytay will once again close its doors to the public for the safety of our patrons and employees. For those with prepaid bookings, please coordinate with your travel agency for the rebooking or cancellation process.

Some gentle reminders regarding your prepaid booking:

We are on a skeletal work force. And because of some government restrictions, we also have limited amenities. Please take note of the following restrictions to avoid any inconveniences during checkin:

- Strictly NO CHILDREN and SENIORS allowed. 14 years old below and 66 Years old above.
- At present, any person below 15 years old and above 65, and those with immunodeficiency, comorbidity, or other health risks, and pregnant women are not allowed to travel for leisure (Mandated by IATF and Executive Order No. 345).
- NO Faceshield / NO Facemask, no entry.
- A maximum of 2 individuals per room only for our superior and standard rooms. NO extra guests allowed.
- A maximum of 2 days stay only. Any excess will be subject to 14 days quarantine by the City Government.
- Temporarily, no pets allowed.
- Must not exhibit any Covid-19 Symptoms (i.e. flu, couching, etc.)
- Bring a valid government issued ID.

Also:

- The POOL is TEMPORARILY CLOSED.
- Free Parking is available but NOT Guaranteed during weekends.

Our hotel is working on a skeletal workforce, thus, our operating hours is from 10 am to 7 pm daily. Checkin time is from 2 pm until 7 pm only. Checkout at 12 noon. Room cleaning while the room is occupied is not allowed.

Due to the GCQ guidelines recently released by the City Government of Tagaytay, hotels or hotel like services are not allowed to operate during the GCQ except those accommodating the following:

- For areas outside Luzon, guests who have existing booking accommodations for foreigners as of May 1, 2020.

- Guests who have existing long-term bookings.

- Distressed Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and stranded Filipinos or foreign nationals.

- Repatriated OFWs in compliance with approved quarantine protocols.

- Non-OFWs who may be required to undergo mandatory facility-based quarantine.

- Health care workers and other employees from exempted establishments under the Omnibus Guidelines and applicable Memoranda from the Executive Secretary.

Due to the restrictions above, we regret to inform you that Destination Hotel Tagaytay will still be non operational around this time until further notice.
