A friendly reminder...
Let us remember to care for our Household Staff. Let us kindly ensure we implement proper policy also for our household against COVID-19. We should equally be concerned with their health security like that of ours as they are very much part of the family.
1) All our Household Staff coming from outside should always wash their hands and face before working.
2) In the beginning of the day, it's best for our Household Staff to shower first before working.
3) All vehicles must be spray disinfected inside and out before and after use. Before driving, the handheld surfaces (door handles, steering wheel, etc) should be wipe disinfect by the driver using rubber gloves and daily washed cloth and a disinfectant.
4) Divers should always alcohol disinfect their hands prior to entering and using the vehicles.
5) Temperatures of all Hosuehold Staff should always be checked before and after the day's work and recorded for monitoring.
6) If temperature is 37.3 to 37.9, the personnel has to go home to nurse the slight fever.
Give them surgical mask and surgical gloves to wear (NOT N95 mask, they will have harder time to breath and worsen their condition).
7) If temperature is 38, send personnel to ER for medical check and follow doctor advise.
Give mask and gloves to wear.
8) If any of the personnel is having coughs or colds but temperature is below 37.3, let them go home to nurse their colds.
Give them surgical mask and surgical gloves to wear going home to protect them from further contamination and for them from contaminating others. (Again, NOT N95 mask as it will worsen their condition given it's hard to breath).
9) Vehicle used by personnel with colds and fever should be thoroughly disinfected and ventilated and best not used for a day to allow for continued disinfection.
10) Teach and inform Household Staff about COVID-19 and teach them how to use knowledge to have courage and not fear to protect themselves, each other and their families from COVID-19. Have a group chat that you can post information for them to understand and for them to equally teach their family and friends.
11) Require Household Staff to practice social distancing (1 meter apart or at arms length) whether on or off duty; and specially on duty of drivers as they may interact with other people while waiting.
12) Parcels delivered to the house must always be spray disinfect and let it stand for 5mins then wipe disinfect before it goes in the house.
13) Always wipe disinfect all house handheld surfaces every time someone accessed it (door k***s, toilet surfaces, faucets, kitchen surfaces, etc).
14) Household Staff quarters, areas and toilets must be spray disinfect everyday.
15) When Household Staff do the marketing or grocery, they should be wearing surgical mask and surgical gloves and eye goggles (for protection and no touching of face) and to be disposed before entering vehicle; and upon arriving home, to immediately take a bath first before doing anything else. The grocery and market are natural environments for virus to thrive. They should bring alcohol to continuously disinfect hands during the course of marketing and grocery. Imagine the thousands of people that are touching the market and grocery items. Imagine all the virus.
16) Household Staff should then attend to the items bought and all things bought must be wipe disinfected first before stocking in pantry and refrigerator. Ensure to have food grade disinfectant.
17) Hard Reset the pantry and the refrigerators and freezers. Get everything out and disinfeincect everything. Then onwards, should follow #16.
18) Provide all Household Staff with 1,000mg VitC everyday. Their health is your health too.
19) Provide alcohol for their families and homes. Issue 1liter of alcohol to each of the Household Staff each week. Their sanitation is your sanitation too.
20) Provide each Household Staff 4pcs of surgical mask as a reserve for their family members and ONLY to be used if sick and going to the hospital. Source medical reusable cloth mask as well and provide for each Hosuehold Staff and also for their family members. Their protection is your protection too.
