Happy Independence Day, Pilipinas 🇵🇭
Every June 12th, I feel an overwhelming sense of pride—not just as a Filipino, but as the great-granddaughter of LADISLAO DIWA, one of the founders of the Katipunan, the secret society that sparked the Philippine Revolution against Spanish rule.
Ladislao Diwa wasn’t just a name in history books—he was a quiet but determined patriot. A law graduate turned revolutionary, he helped build a movement grounded in courage, solidarity, and hope.
He endured imprisonment, led troops in Cavite, and later served as its first civil governor under the First Republic. His fight was never just about independence—it was about dignity, justice, and creating a future Filipinos could claim as their own.
That spirit runs deep in me today.
As I navigate my own path—whether in energy, entrepreneurship, or advocacy—I carry his legacy with pride and responsibility. I’m reminded that freedom isn’t something we simply inherit. It’s something we live, protect, and pass on—through the values we choose, the people we uplift, and the communities we serve.
May we honor those who came before us by continuing the work of building a just, inclusive, and sovereign nation.
Mabuhay ang Pilipinas. Mabuhay ang ating mga bayani. 🇵🇭
