π¨ ATTENTION ALL CONCERNED PARENTS AND CITIZENS π¨
This has come to my attention that a certain individual has taken to social media to air their grievances regarding their child's academic performance, specifically in MAPEH. But sad to say, this post was already deleted. The public could have bashed you more to make you wake up from a nightmare. While it's understandable for a parent to be concerned about their child's education, it is utterly deplorable to resort to public shaming and threats towards the educators responsible. Let's get one thing straight: Teachers are not to be scapegoated for a student's lack of effort or comprehension. They dedicate their lives to nurturing young minds, often facing challenges beyond their control. It is despicable to see them vilified for doing their job diligently.
Moreover, the blatant disregard for privacy and decency displayed by this individual is reprehensible. Posting sensitive information, including grades and personal details, not only violates the Data Privacy Act but also showcases a severe lack of respect for the institution and individuals involved.
To the parent in question: You know what? Your actions are not only irresponsible but also disgraceful. Instead of pointing fingers and making baseless threats, perhaps it's time to introspect and address the root cause of your child's academic struggles. Education is a collaborative effort between teachers, students, and parents, and it's high time you recognize your role in fostering a conducive learning environment.
And to the students out there: Grades are not bestowed upon you; they are earned through hard work, dedication, and a thirst for knowledge. Your academic journey is your own responsibility, and it's imperative to take ownership of your learning process. Blaming others for your shortcomings is not only futile but also impedes your growth as a scholar and individual.
Let this serve as a reminder to all: Respect, integrity, and accountability are paramount in any educational setting. Let us strive to uphold these values and foster a culture of mutual understanding and support.
Message coming from an to Sir Roel, the students, the parents, and the public.
