Two years ago, this was all just land and a whole lot of uncertainty.

From day one to where Villa Refrescante is now, has been quite a journey. Full of unexpected challenges with no shortcuts and no perfect timing—just faith and the decision to keep going.

And honestly? Looking back now, still feels absolutely surreal how far this place has come.

Today marks another year since the groundbreaking and we are still growing, learning and building one step at a time.

Huge shoutout to our incredible team who literally built this from the ground up over the last 24 months and to every guest and supporter who became part of our story.

• Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks
• Assist in ensuring facilities are in good working condition
• Provide support to guests when needed

Qualifications:

• Physically fit
• Trustworthy and responsible
• Able to work with minimal supervision

April had its own kind of rhythm here—nothing too loud, nothing forced, just a steady flow of people coming in and settling into the space like it was made for them.

Some arrived quiet and tired, others already in full celebration mode. The late starts, big breakfasts, pool breaks and not so quiet nights; always the same feeling- the place a little more lived in, a little more warm, a little more “theirs” for a moment.

That’s what stayed with us the most this month, not just the bookings, but how naturally everyone made their own version of time here.

It passed like that. Quietly full! Simple, but never empty.

Not everything about a stay is seen in photos. But every stay leaves a mark!

And do you also know what really makes a place special? It's how it's taken care of in between guests.

This place has been a home to many good memories, a place meant to be enjoyed not just visited. A space shared by many and that is why we always take pride in keeping it clean and welcoming for everyone and we truly appreciate those who move through it with a little intention-- picking up after themselves, keeping things in order and most of all treating it like their own. May seem like a small thing but it makes a big difference not just for us but for everybody who comes after.

Because we always hope every stay feels worth it.
