Alinsunod sa Heavy Rainfall Yellow Warning Level na inilabas ng PAGASA ngayong 5:00 ng umaga, Agosto 7, 2026 (Biyernes) dulot ng Enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), at batay sa rekomendasyon ng Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC), pansamantalang suspendido ang lahat ng tourism activities sa bayan ng Tanay hanggang sa susunod na abiso.

Kabilang dito ang lahat ng water activities, trekking, hiking, camping, at iba pang tourism-related activities.

Pinapayuhan ang lahat ng residente, turista, tourism establishments, at tour operators na manatiling alerto sa posibilidad ng malalakas na pag-ulan, pagbaha, pagtaas ng tubig sa mga ilog at sapa, at pagguho ng lupa, lalo na sa mga upland barangays. Mahigpit ding ipinapayo na iwasan ang pagpunta sa mga lugar na maaaring maapektuhan ng mga naturang panganib.

Patuloy pong subaybayan ang mga opisyal na anunsyo ng PAGASA, MDRRMO Tanay, at Tanay Tourism para sa mga susunod na abiso.

New gate installed by our new care taker. 🌱

Maliit na improvement, pero pramis mas marami pa na susunod na pag- aayos ng camp. Mas safe, may privacy at secured na entrance ng camp. Salamat po sa pag unawa.

Public Advisory: Water Supply Update at CAMP RC at Daraitan

To all our valued and future guests,

We would like to inform you that due to the current extreme summer weather and prolonged dry season, the "SAPA" (stream/spring) that supplies our camp’s water system has dried up.

As a result, there is currently no running water in the faucets and bathrooms at CAMP RC at Daraitan. This is a natural condition affecting our camp.

What we are doing:
1. We have installed a water drum and provide "IGIB" as a temporary backup supply for essential use.
2. We are closely monitoring the situation and will restore normal water supply once the SAPA recovers with rainfall.
3. We strongly advise guests to expect limited water for bathing and toilet use until further notice.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

PUBLIC APOLOGY REGARDING THE MAY 9–10, 2026 INCIDENT AT CAMP RC AT DARAITAN

To all our guests from Mother’s Day weekend, particularly to KAPares, Junjun Jenjen atbp, and their families,

We at CAMP RC at Daraitan would like to extend our sincerest apologies for the unacceptable experience you had at our camp.

There was an area of water interruption in Daraitan on May 9–10, 2026. While this was beyond our control, there is no excuse for how our former caretakers handled the situations.

We take full responsibility for this. You trusted us with your special weekend, and we failed to deliver the service and respect you paid for.

Actions we are taking immediately:
1. We have terminated the caretakers involved in this incident. We do not condone or tolerate this kind of behavior towards our guests.
2. We are offering a 30% partial refund ( for the payment) to all guests affected during May 9–10. Please message this page with your proof of payment and GCash/Maya/Bank details. We will process all refunds within 1–2 business days. This offer stands for all affected guests.
3. We are installing two large water tanks/drum to ensure water availability during future area interruptions.
4. We are hiring and training a new team that will uphold proper hospitality, respect, and accountability.

We understand that no apology or refund can undo the stress and disappointment of your ruined Mother’s Day weekend. However, we are committed to correcting our mistakes and taking full accountability.

Thank you to those who give their feedback. We were made aware of our shortcomings and given the opportunity to improve.

To our future guests: We ask for a second chance to earn your trust. We are implementing these changes to ensure that this incident will never happen again at CAMP RC.
