𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: In celebration of the 51st Anniversary of Coast Guard Education, Training and Doctrine Command on 20 September 2024, we are pleased to announce that there will be a FREE LEGAL CONSULTATION through the Coast Guard Legal Unit- CGETDC on 10 and 18 September 2024, from 0900H to 1500H at HCGETDC Marilag Lecture Hall. PCG personnel outside Manila-Cavite areas may avail the legal consultation via Zoom.

This is an excellent opportunity for those with legal concerns, such as marriage, inheritance, PSA, affidavits, and more, to receive professional advice. Rest assured, all consultations will be held with strict confidentiality to protect your privacy.

RTC ZAMBOANGA CONDUCTS TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY

LOOK: The Coast Guard Education, Training and Doctrine Command through the Regional Training Center Zamboanga conducted a tree planting activity as part of the pre-anniversary activities of CGETDC at RTC Zamboanga, Gate 4, Zamboanga Special Economic Zone Sinubong, Zamboanga City, yesterday, 30 July 2024.

The activity aims to grow more trees that will provide fresher air and shaded areas to help the RTC Zamboanga's environmental development.

Together, let’s continue nurturing our environment and protecting our mother nature!

RTC ZAMBOANGA CONDUCTS COASTAL CLEAN-UP AT THE TALISAYAN COASTAL AREA

LOOK: The Coast Guard Education, Training and Doctrine Command through the Regional Training Center Zamboanga together with the personnel of Coast Guard Sub-Station San Ramon and CGWCEIS SWM conducted a Coastal Clean-up as part of the pre-anniversary activities of CGETDC at the coastal area of Talisayan, Zamboanga City, today, 31 July 2024.

More than Sixty (60) garbage bags were filled with various wastes including plastic bottles, slippers, cigarette butts, plastic cups, candy wrappers, styrofoam, diapers and plastic sandals were collected. The activity highlights the importance of cleaner shorelines and promoting a cleaner environment.

IN PHOTOS: On 16 September 2023, personnel of Regional Training Center Zamboanga participated in International Coastal Clean-up (ICC) Day 2023 with the theme: "SeaTheChange"

This Center together with the City Government of Zamboanga, LGU's, NGO's, Fraternal Order of Eagles Organizations and stakeholders through the office of the City Environment and natural resources (OCENR) conducted said activity at Zamboanga Special Economic Zone Authority Coastal Area and its shoreline.

The International Coastal Cleanup Day was established by the Ocean Conservancy, an organization that works to help protect the ocean from the challenges it faces every year. Likewise, the activity played a crucial role in raising awareness about the environmental impact of marine litter, engaging communities, and promoting sustainable practices in coastal areas.

RTC-Zamboanga Graduation Ceremony of CGNOC Class 99-2022

This Center just recently concluded the Graduation Rites and Ceremony of Eight Hundred Forty Four (844) proud and strong members of CGNOC CL99-2022 "MASINTALAB" Class with the Commander, Coast Guard Education Training and Doctrine Command, CG RADM EUSTACIO NI**OD P ENRIQUEZ JR, As the Presiding Officer on 28 July 2023 Friday, aboard RTC-Zamboanga Parade Ground.
Also in attendance during the Ceremony the Commander, Coast Guard District South Western Mindanao, CG COMMO MARCO ANTONIO P GINES, Acting Deputy Commander of CGETDC, CG CAPT PAMELA DC DOLINA, Supt CGNOS, CG CAPT JEROME T CAYABYAB (DSC)
, Other PCG Officers, Chairman, Zamboanga Economic Zone Authority, CGA COMMO RAUL M REGONDOLA and Stakeholders who provide support throughout the training of the class and to RTC Zamboanga as a whole.

The Commencement Exercise Signifies the Welcoming of Newly Certified Members of the Philippine Coast Guard to Serve, Oath in Protecting our Countries Sovereignty in accordance to its Core Functions Mandated in PCG Law / R.A. 9993.

RTC-Zamboanga Occurence: On 28 July 2023 aboard this Center. A highlighted event was being marked. The inauguration, blessings and turnover of Mess Hall and Barracks buildings under the DPWH TIKAS PROGRAM PHASE 1 to the RTC-Zamboanga. The said ceremony were attended by these great personalities; the Commander, Coast Guard Education Training and Doctrine Command, CG RADM EUSTACIO NI**OD P ENRIQUEZ JRand
DPWH Official Engr. Cayomombao Dia and parties, together with Chairman, Zamboanga Economic Zone Authority, CGA COMMO RAUL M REGONDOLA .These newly established buildings will be utilized by this Center for its 24/7 operations and administrative routines.

RTC-Zamboanga on Kuwagold @50

The RTC-Zamboanga conducted various pre-event activities on the upcoming Anniversary of Coast Guard Education Training and Doctrine Command, Kuwagold@50 on 21 September 2023.

This Center facilitated the event of conducting the Dental, Medical and Outreach program at Brgy Hall of Campo Islam, Zamboanga City with more than Eighty (80) senior citizens and children as recipients. The event was graced by the presence of the Commander, Coast Guard Education Training and Doctrine Command, CG RADM EUSTACIO NI**OD P ENRIQUEZ JR,
together with the Director of RTC-Zamboanga, CG LTSG PRESLEY L ARQUIZA , RTC MED-SWM Team headed by CG LTSG FREDDIE C COMBO, RTC NURSING SERVICE-SWM Team headed by CG ENS BRIX Q PEGA, Personnel of this Center, selected members of CGNOC CL 99-2022, other stakeholders to include PCGA, AZUMITH Eagles Club and Barangay Campo Islam Officials. The event was successfully conducted last 18 July 2023.

RTC OCCURRENCE: RTC-Zamboanga & CGNOC CL 99-2023 Barrio Fiesta 2023

The Coast Guard Non-Officer Course Class 99-2022 "Masintalab" facilitated the conduct of Barrio Fiesta for C.Y 2023 with the theme" Katutubong Pamumuhay Ating Kilalanin at Pagyamanin" at Regional Training Center Zamboanga. It was attended by RTC-Zamboanga Director and CG RADM EUSTACIO NI**OD P ENRIQUEZ JR, Commander, Coast Guard Education Training and Doctrine Command, as keynote speaker of this event. The activity was officially declared opened by the CGETDC Commander. It was followed by a Katutubo Dance Parade, as a symbol of showcasing different tribes in the Philippines. As well as, booths were opened to display the different delicacies and daily lifestyle of our katutubo.The celebration was participated by all troops of this center as well as to thei members of Masintalab Class.
