Camp Kumbati Supertiks A 3.5ha farmland along the Brgy road beautifully painted with the wide Sindangan River heading south. Discover & camp soon in CKS. This is me, Kumbati Supertiks.

Rolling up, it is gifted with plains for farming, slopes for native tree forest, creek for bamboos, and peak for camping. I am a licensed Electronics Engineer in the Philippines for more than 15 years helping other souls to become one. Last year, 2021, in the height of COVID19 pandemic, I started trekking to the flipside of technology...Soil, Earth, and Farming. Follow me in this new and challengi

ng journey. I know this ride will be very bumpy but I'm pretty sure with your support,
I can make this happen. I will share my success and my failures in this page so we can learn together. I will trailblaze to this unknown territory with ZERO background so that when your turn comes, a lesser bone-shaking ride will shepherd your way. Welcome to Camp Kumbati Supertiks! Let the journey begin!

FARM UPDATE
Sometimes the best farming decision is knowing when not to plant. 🚫🌱

The El Niño is hitting Camp Kumbati Supertiks hard, dry wells and thirsty trees. It’s a tough season, but we’re playing the long game. We held back on planting these fruit trees last November 2025, and it was the right call. We’re grateful we kept these seedlings in the nursery instead of the field.

Survival is the priority right now. Come June and the rainy season, these will have their time to shine!

Looking at these fruit-bearing Tacunan Dwarfs, we’re so glad we got them in the ground when we did. The future is looking (and tasting) pretty sweet at Camp Kumbati Supertiks.

Here at Camp Kumbati Supertiks, less is more and life is slow.

One quiet afternoon, native trees were planted.

No rush, no pressure—just letting nature take its course. Using the Miyawaki method, native species planted close to grow together the way they were meant to: dense, resilient, and alive.

Protecting biodiversity doesn’t have to be grand. It starts with simple, intentional acts. If you have a bit of space and care, plant native trees. They belong here—and in time, they’ll take care of us too. 🌱

From less than a foot tall to standing over 10 feet high. 🌱🌲

This Mountain Agoho (Gymnostoma rumphianum) was bought in January 2023, just a small seedling you could almost overlook. Last December 2025, we took this photo and it now rises to almost 15 feet tall.

No shortcuts. No chemicals. Just the right tree, planted in the right place, given time, care, and respect. This is why planting native trees matter. Native species like mountain agoho are naturally adapted to our climate, soil, and rainfall. They grow stronger, need less intervention, support wildlife, and help heal the land.

When we plant native, we’re not just growing trees, we’re restoring ecosystems. Caring for the earth doesn’t always require grand gestures. Sometimes it begins with a small seedling, patience, and the choice to plant what truly belongs.

Let’s grow forests with purpose. Let’s plant native. 🌏🌿
