Gulmit Guest House # main building has three doubled bed well furnished rooms with attached bathrooms.

"The # was basically the residence of Group Capt. Mirzada Muhammad Shah Khan (late) from the Royal family of Hunza , who was a legend and hero of Liberation of Gilgit Baltistan in 1947-1948. The house was built in 1958 and was in use til early eighties and later it was converted into a guest house. Before Ata Abad lake disaster Gulmit Guest House was known as village guest house and is the popular place for foreign diplomats, families and International tourists."
