IQBAL DAY!
Today, on 9th November, we proudly celebrate the birth anniversary of Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal, the great poet, philosopher, and visionary who inspired millions of Muslims with his message of faith, unity, and self-respect. Known as the Poet of the East and the spiritual father of Pakistan, Iqbal’s words continue to guide and motivate generations to rise above challenges and work for the betterment of their nation.
At Safari Resort Skardu, surrounded by the majestic mountains and serene beauty of Gilgit-Baltistan, we reflect on Iqbal’s vision and the lessons his poetry teaches us. Iqbal encouraged the youth to believe in themselves, to develop their inner strength (Khudi), and to dedicate their efforts towards building a prosperous and enlightened society. Just like the mountains that stand tall and firm, his message reminds us to remain steadfast in our values and dreams.
This Iqbal Day, we encourage everyone to not only remember his poetry but also live by his teachings. Let us embrace education, courage, and hard work, and let the spirit of unity guide our actions.
