🏔️ A Tribute to a Son of the Mountains — Sohail Sakhi 🇵🇰
Karakorum View Hotel, Karimabad Hunza joins the people of Hunza, Pakistan, and the global mountaineering community in mourning the tragic loss of Sohail Sakhi, a brave son of Hunza and a passionate mountaineer who lost his life in the devastating Broad Peak avalanche alongside nine other climbers.
Sohail dedicated his life to the mountains he loved. His courage, passion, and connection with the mighty Karakoram will remain an inspiration to generations of mountaineers and mountain lovers.
The mountains can be beautiful, but they also demand the deepest respect. Sohail and his fellow climbers paid the ultimate price while pursuing their dreams among the highest peaks on Earth.
Today, we remember Sohail Sakhi not only for how he died, but for how he lived — with courage, passion, humility, and an extraordinary love for the mountains. 🏔️❤️
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and give strength and patience to his family and loved ones. Ameen. 🤲
