University of Education Township Lahore The University of Education (or UE), at Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan is the first specialized university The campus houses two women hostels and one men hostel.

Government College of Education for Science, Township Lahore was established in 1979 on the recommendation of UNESCO and a British education mission headed by Sir Lord James to prepare science teachers as there was a shortage of science teachers in the province. It has been a co-educational institution since its inception. The Government College of Education for Science, Township Lahore has become

a campus of the University of Education, Lahore. The campus spreads over 203 acres with undergraduate and graduate studies blocks, with facilities including a library, science laboratories and computer laboratories. Another academic building is under construction on the campus, with a cost of Rs. 50 million.
