Great HOTEL, CONVENIENT Location, Fabulous SERVICE and AMAZINGLY Affordable Rates!
HOTEL BLUE SKY is a great place to stay in if you are visiting Islamabad or Rawalpindi. HOTEL BLUE SKY is rated as a 3 STAR HOTEL but surprisingly comes at very affordable ROOM RATES, which is affordable by everyone, especially considering the high rates charged by other hotels in Islamabad or Rawalpindi.
In the last week of February 2013, I had the opportunity of visiting Islamabad and one of my friends SHAHZAD, suggested that I stay at HOTEL BLUE SKY. WOW! What a great hotel it was and will ALWAYS be. What surprised me was the number of FAMILIES staying at this fabulous hotel. There were also Business Executives, Business Owners, Tourists and Couples on their honeymoon staying at HOTEL BLUE SKY which has its own A-Class LA ROSH RESTAURANT located on the Ground Floor.
The RECEPTION
Mr. Shahzad, Mr. Basharat (The Hotel Manager), and Mr. Shezan, were great, friendly, yet professional and highly educated and courteous people whom I met and interacted with during my stay at HOTEL BLUE SKY.
IN-HOUSE FOOD SERVICE – LAROSH RESTAURANT
The Room Service provided by LAROSH Restaurant located on the Ground Floor of HOTEL BLUE SKY just superb! The MENU offers a wide array of choice meals for BREAKFAST, LUNCH and DINNER. You may just climb down a few stairs from your Hotel Room and dine in at LAROSH Restaurant or simply ORDER for ROOM SERVICE by dialing 121 from your Room Telephone. It's because of people like YOU who make HOTEL BLUE SKY really a memorable experience to stay at. The FOOD provided by LAROSH Restaurant was absolutely DELICIOUS and the prices are very, very, very AFFORDABLE and the QUALITY is 100% GREAT, HIGH QUALITY. On the whole, I found the hotel neat, clean and very well-maintained.
LOCATION:
HOTEL BLUE SKY is conveniently located in the heart and commercial hub of COMMITTEE CHOWK on MURREE ROAD, in RAWALPINDI. To be precise about the location, HOTEL BLUE SKY is located just near the Underpass on Murree Road (you just have to turn on your RIGHT before the Underpass), on Muree Road, near Gulistan Cinema.
GETTING THERE:
From the Airport, METRO CAB charges just Rs. 600/-. Private Taxis charge anywhere from Rs. 400-Rs.500/- (if you’re lucky you may get a bargain deal for just Rs. 300/-, which is very rare).
My Sincere Advice:
Please DON’T waste time in bargaining. Go for METRO CAB or the Private Taxi Fare as mentioned above, which are the BEST RATES. DO NOT PAY MORE THAN THIS.
Though it says in the Hotel’s Brochure that it’s just a 15 minutes drive from Benazir International Airport Islamabad and from the Rawalpindi Railway Station, it usually takes at least 30-45 minutes in the heavy traffic to reach there!
