Sztuka i Partnerzy

Sztuka i Partnerzy We strive to balance needs of people and communities we create with nature and obligations to protect it.

S&P Landscape Architecture (S&P) is a landscape studio with offices in Warsaw (Poland) and Ekaterinburg (Russian Federation). The geography of our projects covers China, Russia, Middle East, Poland and other European countries. We use integrated landscape planning and landscape design as a means to deal with concerns over climate change, quality of life, and biodiversity. S&P believes that landsca

pe architecture is about creating communities and culture as much as it’s about creating spaces “for life to happen within them”. What we do:
• Parks and public realm
• Housing projects
• Office centers
• Hotels and leisure
• Historical parks and private gardens
• Shopping malls
• Landscape for education and play
• Landscape strategies and Planning

S&P is currently contributing to the Essence Residence luxury housing development in Marbella for InvestHome Development — a project that combines the atmosphere of a high-end tropical resort with the technical demands of contemporary climate-resilient residential design.

In developments such as Essence Residence in Marbella, luxury is no longer defined only by architecture, pools, and elegant outdoor spaces. It is equally shaped by how well the project responds to heat, water use, landscape performance, and long-term environmental quality.

Our input focuses on three closely connected areas: sustainable water management, green roof technology, and climate resilience. The aim is to help create a landscape setting that feels lush, calm, and refined, while also performing intelligently in the specific conditions of the Costa del Sol.

For S&P, this is an important part of what defines the future of luxury housing: places that preserve exclusivity and resort-style comfort, while integrating advanced environmental thinking in a seamless and understated way.

Essence Residence by Investhome is the kind of project where luxury atmosphere, landscape quality, and environmental intelligence must work seamlessly as one.

While our work often shapes large public realms and urban frameworks, our design philosophy is just as meaningful in private landscapes.

This residence in Wiltshire, UK, is a quiet example of how landscape architecture can transform intimate settings into places of beauty, balance, and wellbeing.

Thoughtfully composed planting, natural material transitions, and a deep respect for context bring the space to life. Calm, seasonal, and human-centered.

And just as importantly, it becomes a family space: a garden to gather, play, share meals, and create lasting memories across generations.

Because at S&P, scale doesn’t determine significance. Whether a public park or a private garden, every project is designed with care, sustainability, and purpose.

Biodiversity isn’t just a green ideal anymore, it’s a design strategy.

At S&P, we build planting schemes that work with nature, not against it. By blending trees, shrubs, perennials, and groundcovers, we create living systems that resist pests, adapt to climate stress, and evolve over time.

But it’s not only about variety, it’s about process. We harness natural mechanisms of self-regulation, ecological succession, natural selection, dispersal, and colonization, to shape landscapes that are more efficient, resilient, and economical.

Every species has a job: pollinators fuel blooms, deep-rooted trees anchor soils, and seasonal shifts bring rhythm and richness.

And when plants and soils work together, they act like a living sponge, absorbing water, buffering droughts and floods, and stabilizing the ecosystem.

The result? Landscapes that last longer, cost less to maintain, support local life, and inspire people year-round.

Not Every Project Needs to Stand Out, Some Need to Belong

📍 Giesebrechtstrasse 11, Berlin, Germany

At S&P, we support iconic developments, but in many cases, we choose subtlety. Giesebrechtstrasse 11 is a mini project, an urban intervention, that blends seamlessly into the historic urban fabric, creating a refined, sensual atmosphere that feels timeless and inviting.

The project reflects our belief that design doesn’t always have to dominate. The most effective designs are the ones people return to. Not because they demand attention, but because they feel right.

Our Manifesto, in Practice”
📍 High Rail Park, Harbin, China
🖋 “Designs which work now and for the generations to come.”

This isn’t just a statement, it’s our standard.
At S&P, every decision carries weight. It’s not only about how a place looks today, but how it lives tomorrow. For people, for the environment, and for the city itself.

High Rail Park in Harbin embodies this principle. A winning entry for a 2011 competition, the project is a dynamic linear landscape inspired by the speed and rhythm of high-speed rail.

The park integrates movement, ecology, and year-round public life. From seasonally responsive plantings and ice sculptures to sports zones, underpasses, and vibrant architectural elements, this park isn’t just a green space, it’s an active part of the city’s evolution.

The project was also envisioned as a statement of the then newly awakened confidence and ambitions of Heilongjiang Province (黑龙江省), China’s northernmost region.

Almost every projects starts with a single hand-drawn line. ✏️

Before the model, renderings, construction drawings, and a final built form, we sketch to think, to question, to explore.

These early gestures may seem rough, but they often carry the core of the idea: spatial relationships, future movement, light patterns, and purpose.

For us, sketching isn’t about nostalgia. It is a way to connect mind, hand, and place an important creative tool.

📷 Concept model → Realized garden

At S&P, design begins with imagination, but it becomes real through visualization.
From the first hand-drawn sketches to digital models, each stage serves a purpose.

Digital modeling allows us to study spatial and dimensional relationships, achieving a harmonized balance of volumes and voids before the garden comes to life.

On that framework, we add layers of color, texture, and seasonal transformation, bringing depth, rhythm, and richness. And finally, nature adds its own magical touch: the unforeseen accidents that make every space unique.

"Tailored by Context"

Every place is different, so is every design.

At S&P, we don’t believe in templates. Our approach begins with listening: to our clients, to future users, and to the site itself.

We shape each project to respond precisely to its function, its surroundings, and its culture, because thoughtful, site-sensitive design isn’t just good practice, it’s our philosophy.

✍️ Design Begins by Hand

At S&P, hand sketching is more than a technique—it’s how we think.

Each line reflects analysis, intuition, and a growing connection with the site. Sketching slows us down just enough to understand a place deeply and let ideas emerge naturally—before refinement begins.

This is where thoughtful, human-centered design starts: not with perfection, but with exploration. It helps us think spatially, feel creatively, and design with intention.

From community parks to urban landscapes, this approach grounds our work in authenticity—shaping spaces that reflect culture, ecology, and everyday life.

🌀 Our Manifesto

At S&P, we place the human spirit at the heart of our design, not at the top of it.

We create spaces that serve life in all its forms, where people thrive with nature, not at its expense.

Because true landscape architecture doesn’t dominate - it collaborates.

Designs that live today, and still make sense tomorrow.
