LAST CALL!!

This is our last call for a July 4th rental as we pack up 3 more boards and head to the lake.

I have 2 boards available for today. Meeting at Honey Creek State Park @ 5 PM!

$150 gets you the boards until it’s time to be off the water!! ( 30 minuets before official sunset)

Where there’s a will, there’s a way!
Great news, it was only a minor injury and requires PT and 4-6 weeks of “no paddle boarding” , among other things.

However, when one of my favorite clients calls for a lesson, and the weather could not have been more perfect, we found a way!

Mia got to instruct for the first time!

With my inability to stand up (or even move much on my board) I gave verbal instructions while Mia gave all physical demonstrations. She was a rockstar!!

I have decided to officially hire her! Mia will now join me on lessons to help guide paddlers on the water 🏄‍♀️ As well as help set up and break down each session.

So proud of my girl ♥️

This is why stretching is important, especially for someone of my advanced age 🤣

Until I see the specialist next week and have some test ran, all lessons will have to be rescheduled. I’m so sorry friends!

We do have other coaches, however, one will be having a baby VERY soon 😍 So she is also unavailable this summer.

Leaving us with one coach. He will be running all rentals! Coach Micah will meet with all equipment and give you the safety rundown before you hit the water. However, slots are limited!

All dressed up and nowhere to go 😞
Sure looks like a beautiful day, but that wind is nasty and we had to cancel our sessions.

Remember friends, on Grand Lake, winds 10 MPH or more can make paddle boarding a nightmare. With gusts over 35 MPH, like today, you better be a pro or have your phone because rescue may be in your future.

Remember:
-Always check weather AND wind conditions before going out.
(Mesonet.org is what we use for wind)

- ALWAYS wear a life jacket

-Always have a plan
