Friday morning, August 16
*82% of PR customers currently have power. They are hoping that by tonight 90% will be energized, with the rest in service by tomorrow.
*Confirmed that the 2 generators on Vieques do not work.
*There was a major power line that runs from Carolina to Naguabo that lost service last night. That line feeds the undersea cable for Vieques.
*After reviewing the lines on Vieques, there appears to be no concern or issues. The island just needs to be energized.
*They hope to have the Carolina-Naguabo line fixed this afternoon.
*They hope to have the Vieques undersea cable enrgized by 4:00pm this afternoon.
