It’s amazing that this evening seemed almost a magic time travel to late renaissance San Juan in 1522. San Juan is celebrating its founding 500(!!) years ago as the second (to Santo Domingo) oldest city in the Americas. This 16th century feel timing came from the spectacular sailing ships that entered the magnificent deep water San Juan Harbor crewed by sailors of Mexico, Brazil, Uruguay, Ecuador, and Columbia Navies. The ships are used by the respected Navies as sailing training vessels to tech basic seamanship, character, and teamwork. On a large intricate sailing ship lack of teamwork means no forward progress.

The USA was represented by Captain America in full dress uniform, including magic shield.
Across from Mexico’s ship was a soundstage with a hot Mariachi Banda that had the Boricuas dancing.
