Personalized micro-lodging experience in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Wellness sanctuary. Walkable, safe district- market, deli, dining, cinema and parks.

Clean, comfortable master bedroom in charming Miramar. 5 minute bike ride to Condado, 20 to Old San Juan. Simple, charming, super clean oasis in a friendly neighborhood. It's nice to stay in a comfortable yet highly accessible location away from the congested tourist areas but close to all the local attractions- Old San Juan, Condado, Ocean Park Beach. Full access includes bathroom, living room, fully-equipped kitchen, and enclosed patio in addition to private master bedroom. Authentic Puerto Rican residential neighborhood. Safe, convenient and charming. Fabulous gourmet/health food market/deli (La Hacienda) three blocks away. A variety of wonderful restaurants, cafes, beaches, and historic landmarks. Convenient public transportation and/or cab service. Bicycling is a wonderful way to explore San Juan- my location is five minutes via bike to Condado (roughly a 20 minute walk) and you can get to Old San Juan in about 20 on bike. LGBTQI friendly. All nice people are welcome :)

8 years sober. Another Pride week in San Juan.

Here's what nobody tells you: the challenge isn't temptation. It's overwhelm.

The noise. The crowd. The FOMO. The sheer volume of stimulus. Managing that is the actual skill.

I wrote a whole guide on how to do it — and actually enjoy every minute. 🌈

Most of us didn't choose to fund fossil fuels. Or factory farming. Or predatory banks.
But every day, quietly, our dollars do exactly that — because we haven't been given a better map.

This is the map. ✦

Show Up for the Universe is a free daily ritual for conscious living. Morning, midday, and evening — it asks you one question: is my money building the world I believe in?

Inside: a checklist to keep you moving, a guide to companies worth walking away from (and why), and a curated list of ethical businesses — from Dr. Bronner's to Patagonia to Amalgamated Bank — that are actually building the economy we're praying for.

Your dollars are a ballot. You vote every time you spend. Link in bio. Free. Always.

SAN JUAN'S MARKET MOMENT: YOUR GUIDE TO THE BEST FARMERS MARKETS IN AND AROUND THE CITY:

Something is happening in San Juan, and it smells like fresh cacao, local honey, and tomatoes that actually taste like tomatoes. Farmer-style markets are proliferating across the metro area — beach pop-ups, rotating Sunday mercados, monthly community gatherings, old-school plazas del mercado getting new energy — and if you haven't been exploring them, you are missing one of the most genuinely Puerto Rican experiences this city has to offer.
