Our Story

“Come as guests, leave as friends.”

This is the driving force behind everything Steve and Francia Lantz set their minds to. You won’t meet two people more in love with Rincón, Puerto Rico. They called the island home for 21 years, and they go back every chance they get! In a previous life, Francia and Steve owned and operated the Lazy Parrot, a successful hotel they built up over 27 years. Steve once mentioned that they tended to lose clients, not because the Parrot was lacking in anything, but because time and again guests would fall in love with Rincón and want to move there! That is why, when their Parrot days were over, Steve and Francia decided to buy a rental property in Rincón to keep the community spirit alive.

Francia and Steve have two daughters, who agree that growing up in Rincón was beyond compare! While living in Puerto Rico, the Lantzes invested much of their time in building up the thriving local business community. If they weren’t eating at their favorite local foodie spot or attending the surfing competitions, they were working hard to make sure all of their guests knew what was happening around town. This is the same philosophy they carry with them today.

When you stay with Steve and Francia, you get all of their 27 years of a local’s knowledge and insight. You’ll be treated as part of the family!
