It has now been more than 90 days since we closed the doors of the Hosh Al-Syrian guesthouse and Fawda restaurant.

For many of you, we have stayed in touch, through social media and putting forward everybody's health and safety.

Our team is still there, at home, staying safe and making sure that when it will be possible to resume our activities, we will be ready to welcome you again among us in Bethlehem.

The team has also been quite active on social media sharing with you pictures of the Hosh and pictures of food past and present.

Our Chef, .f.kattan has also started a podcast about cuisine with recipes and great guests for you to keep a bit of the spirit we share with you.

Really happy to see this article by Fadi Kattan in This Week in Palestine about the cooperation between Bethlehem Municipality - بلدية بيت لحم and Hosh Al-Syrian Guesthouse

Thanks to the Mayor, Adv. Anton Salman, the Municipal Council members, the Director of the Municipality Tony Morcos, the great team in PR Carmen J. Ghattas Fadi Elias Ghattas and all the supportive members of Bethlehem Municipality's team.

When the Bethlehem Municipality renovated the Hosh Al-Syrian complex, the goal was to set an example of how to turn a historic building into a guesthouse and attract tourism to the heart of the Old City. The rehabilitation was supported by the Italian government-run Palestinian Municipality Support....
