Armacao de Pera is a picturesque resort spreading up the hill from the harbour.Its wonderful beaches and sparkling waters draw many thousands of visitors every year.The wide provision of water sports,good restaurants and a lively nightlife all add to the attraction of Armacao de Pera. The beach is said to be best in Algarve by many.Its calm and warm,shallow and quiet.The wild rocks compose strange formations that become amusement for many kids.In the summer months the town overflows with tourists,meanwhile the nearby rural village of Pera remains as a reminder of the un-spoilt typical sleepy Algarve.On the eastern side of the beach are a number of fish restaurants that pride themselves on serving fresh fish.
