Hoje celebra-se o Dia dos Avós em Portugal, e para nós é um enorme privilégio assinalar esta data tão especial na Quinta Vermelha de Alcaria.
Temos o prazer de organizar esta tarde especial em parceria com a Junta de Freguesia de Paderne, a quem agradecemos por ter escolhido a Quinta Vermelha para esta celebração.
Muitos dos avós que hoje nos visitam têm uma ligação muito especial a esta quinta e a Alcaria. Alguns conheceram este lugar quando era uma quinta cheia de vida, e será uma honra recordar essas histórias e mostrar tudo o que foi feito para lhe devolver a vida.
A nossa visão vai muito além de ser um local para refeições, eventos ou alojamento. Queremos que a Quinta Vermelha volte a ser uma verdadeira quinta em funcionamento, produtiva, educativa e um motivo de orgulho para a nossa comunidade. Queremos preservar a sua história enquanto construímos o seu futuro.
Esperamos que esta tarde seja repleta de memórias, sorrisos, novas amizades e momentos inesquecíveis entre gerações.

Today is Grandparents’ Day in Portugal, and we are honoured to celebrate this special occasion here at Quinta Vermelha de Alcaria.
We are delighted to be hosting this special afternoon in partnership with the Junta de Freguesia de Paderne, and we would like to thank them for choosing Quinta Vermelha as the venue for today’s celebration.
Many of the grandparents joining us have a deep connection with this farm and with Alcaria itself. Some remember the Quinta when it was a thriving working farm, and it will be a privilege to share its journey—from those wonderful days, through years of neglect, to its rebirth as a working organic farm once again.
Our vision is about much more than food, accommodation or events. We want Quinta Vermelha to become a thriving working farm once again—one that preserves its heritage, supports the local community, inspires future generations, and becomes one of the most significant farms in the Algarve.
We hope this afternoon is filled with memories, laughter, stories and special moments shared between generations.
