Impact House is a space open to the community in Lisbon where sustainability, circular economy and partnerships with local nonprofits are at the heart of everything we do. Impact House is a hostel committed with sustainability which offers dormitories and private double rooms, all of which with free WiFi and access to shared bathroom facilities. The communal facilities include a spacious living area, a beautiful garden and a vegetables garden, big outdoor area, swimming pool, dining room as well as activities room - where there is a free yoga class every Friday!
A continental breakfast is served daily at the property and is free to all guests. Homemade lunch and dinner (with soup; meat or fish and vegetarian option main course; season fruit and direct trade coffee) are served every day for 10€.
But what really makes Impact House unique is our sustainability concept! We have renewable energy source and compensation of 100% of C02 emissions; we reduce, separate to recycling and compost our waste (you can feed our worms!); we mindful manage our food waste and donate our surplus; we have in our sustainable procurement policy to give preference to non-profit and local suppliers and we relentless pursuit improvements in our supply chain; we foster the opportunity of different connections between local nonprofits and our guests.
Impact House is located 2,5km from the touristic area of Belém on the west side of Lisbon city. The nearest bus station is a 3-minute walk from the hostel. The city is 30-minutes away from Impact House by public transportation. Chiado and Bairro Alto are 9 km and Lisbon airport is 13 km away from the property.
Belém is the site of some of the country’s most important cultural institutions, museums and great local restaurants. This area is a great choice for travellers interested in local food, culture, city walks and sightseeing.

Our impact moms spoil guests and clients with delicious food made with love and fresh, local and seasonal ingredients.
At Impact House, lunch (1 to 3 pm) and dinner (7.30 to 9 pm) - with soup; meat or fish and vegetarian option main course; season fruit and direct trade coffee - are served every day for 10€. Our homemade food is also available for take away or delivery every day.

💚 Impact cafe by the pool
Every afternoon, we invite everyone to enjoy the swimming pool and taste our food and drinks with a positive impact.
Our food comes from farm to the plate, through local producers and social organizations made with love by our Impact moms. And goes from the plate back to life with waste management and composting. Positive impact in our health, in our community and on our planet!

At our club called ImpActive, our clients can take care of their mind and body with activities like yoga & meditation, judo or dance. Join us as a member to enjoy all the activities and benefits of Impact House. More details coming soon.
💚 Summer camps for future changemakers
On school holidays we open Impact House no little ones and do our best to turn them into future changemakers! The summer camps “Férias com impacto” are weeks full of physical, artistic, recreational and educational activities focused on social and environmental awareness and personal development and based on values such as solidarity, cooperation, respect, equality and sustainability.
