Our house is built of several apartments, lots of space to spread out find yourself relaxing between surf sessions or getting ready for yoga.

A little look back at the last one.

So we thought we’d do it again.

Paella, w**e, music, friends and whoever else feels like joining.

Winter work exchange.

Fancy swapping a bit of elbow grease for Algarve living and Atlantic waves this winter?

We’re looking for three good humans to join us at Quinta Agave between December 2026 and mid-March 2027, helping with a spot of winter maintenance.
Think painting, cleaning, shifting things around and generally helping us get the place looking lovely.

In exchange, you’ll receive:
Shared accommodation
Surf lessons
All surfing equipment
Transfers to and from the waves
A winter spent near the ocean with the Soul & Surf crew

No particular experience is needed; just common sense, a can-do attitude and a willingness to get stuck in. Couples are very welcome, and applications are open to people from anywhere in the world.

Meet !

Originally from Elche, Spain, Bruno, loves a surf, love brings a different perspective to surf coaching.

When you surf with Bruno, expect thoughtful coaching, useful questions and plenty of attention to the small details that can make a big difference. He’ll help you understand what’s happening in the water, recognise what might be holding your surfing back, and give you the tools to become a more adaptable, confident surfer.

His teaching is summed up in his new book, The Surfer’s Synapsis — exploring the relationship between the surfer, the wave, the mind and the body.

So whether you’re catching your first green waves, working on your technique, or trying to understand why your surfing sometimes just clicks — Bruno is there to help you figure it out.

We like spending time here.

There are fig trees, vines around the doors, tiled floors, whitewashed walls and just the right amount of wonkiness.

Burgau is down the road. Lagos is 15 minutes away. The beach is closer than it used to be.

There’s a pool for the afternoons, a shala for the mornings, and a big table for the evenings.

It’s a traditional Portuguese farmhouse, surrounded by farmland, and we’re slowly making it ours.
