As we enter 2026 now is absolutely the perfect time to be thinking about your next holiday. In fact, is there any better way to beat the January blues than planning and booking an adventure?

✅The villa is so spacious with 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, a huge games room and a truly fabulous infinity pool. We can accommodate 14 guests.
✅Vila Flor is a very short drive (or a brisk walk) to the popular town of Arganil. Here you can find all the amenities necessary for daily living including a great market every Thursday.
✅There are several river beaches (Praia Fluvial) in close proximity, two within easy walking distance. The water flows directly from the mountains and is fresh and clean for swimming. Almost all the river beaches have bathroom facilities and snack bars for your convenience.
✅The nearest river beach, Praia Fluvial de Cascalheira, has Paddle-boards and Kayaks for hire.
✅Two excellent restaurants a short walk away, located by the river.
✅Nature is literally in your doorstep - the whole area is surrounded by rivers and trails perfect for hiking or mountain biking.
✅There are great places to visit - Piódão, the famous Xiste village, or Fraga da Pena waterfall are a short drive. The historic university city of Coimbra is a 40 minute drive and has plenty of interesting areas to visit.
✅The highest mountain range, the Serra da Estrela (star mountains), is home to Portugal’s only ski resort and only an hours drive.
✅The Atlantic coast is around an hour by car and has an abundance of towns to and beaches to explore.
