🌿 Meet our Tamarillo Tree! 💚

Also known as tree tomato, tamarillo is a fruit native to the Andes of South America, but it grows beautifully in Madeira’s mild climate 🌱

Unlike a regular tomato plant, tamarillo grows on a small tree and produces oval-shaped fruits that can be red, orange or yellow when ripe. The flavour is unique …a little sweet, a little tangy, and wonderfully refreshing 🍅✨
