Different level surf lessons 🏄🏽♂️🏄🏻♀️
We offer surf lessons for all levels of surfers, from complete beginner to intermediates. But what does that actually mean? Read more below!
Level 0/1 Beginners: At this level you have never tried surfing before or have maybe tried it a couple of times. During the beginner lessons you will stay in the white wash, close to the shore. Your main goal is to stand up and ride the waves consistently. The teacher will push you in the wave, so you don’t have to worry about catching them yourself just yet.
Level 1+ Intermediate beginners: At this level you can stand up on your surfboard most of the times you ride a wave. You will now start practicing to catch waves on your own. So the teacher won’t be pushing you that much anymore! You will learn paddling technique and correct positioning on your board. These lessons are usually in the white wash because you are still building the foundations of your surfing.
Level 2 Intermediate: At this level you already have practiced paddling for the waves and can most of the times catch them on your own, without the teacher pushing you. This level lessons will teach you more about reading the waves and correct positioning to catch green (unbroken) waves out in the lineup. You will also learn more about steering left and right, surfing down the line, and other techniques of controlling your surfboard to make manoeuvres.
