WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS TIRED WHILE SURFING?
You might simply be pushing your body the wrong way.
One common mistake we see during the take-off is the “bulldog arms” 🐶👇

❌ “BULLDOG ARMS”
Elbows too wide, arms bent and body pushed backward.
You lose power, waste energy and make your take-off slower and harder.

✅ “COBRA PUSH”
Place your hands under your chest and push through straight, strong arms.
Lift your upper body straight up, keeping your body long and controlled.

Why does this help?

⚡ You use your arms more efficiently
⚡ You keep more power in the movement
⚡ You create space to bring your feet underneath you
⚡ Your take-off becomes smoother and faster
⚡ And you save energy for actually surfing the wave!

It’s with great respect and sadness that I come here today to publicly say “see you on the other side” to this man. Alessio from Banzai Surf School & Club left this world and here we pray for his soul. Italy lost a great man, a great surfer and his legacy will prevail among all of us.

Another incredible season is slipping away, like sand through our fingers.

A season of building memories, experiencing new feelings, connecting with strangers who become close friends, and opening new paths in our own lives. A season of being there for ourselves, pushing through difficult moments, and coming out of them stronger and more confident.

This is what makes our season so special. And this is exactly what we aim to create for our guests — an experience that goes deeper than just a week of surfing.

If you’ve been here before, I bet you know exactly what we mean.

May is honestly the best time to start surfing..
Smaller groups and much more relaxed vibe in the water. No crowds, no pressure - just learning, laughing and catching your first waves.. or not first 🤭

From Easter morning breakfasts, to big smiles in the water, deep conversations on the beach, dances before surf, yoga in the garden, sunsets… and so many dinners shared together.
