Some beaches in the Algarve can only be reached by sea. And that's exactly why they're still worth it. 🌊

Ilha da Culatra, Ilha do Farol, Ilha Deserta — all less than 20 minutes by ferry from the centre of Faro. White sand, crystal clear water and the kind of silence that only exists when there's no road leading there.

A hole in the ceiling of a sea cave, light pouring directly onto the sand below — it's one of the most iconic images in Portugal and it's less than an hour from Hostellicious.

You can get there by boat, kayak or stand-up paddle. Our staff will point you to the best option depending on the day and sea conditions.
