Over time, we have built a close relationship with this partner — one based on trust, consistency, and the shared care that goes into every detail behind the scenes. Casa Alecrim and Casa Camélia are two of the studios that shape the Cardeal experience, each with its own atmosphere and thoughtful details.

Casa Alecrim, located on the ground floor, opens directly onto the terrace in the central courtyard, where rosemary and the quiet rhythm of the garden become part of the stay.

Casa Camélia, on the first floor, offers a private balcony where guests can enjoy the city light, the surrounding atmosphere, and the camellias that give the studio its name.

Both studios feature 35 m², with a sleeping area, closet, fully equipped kitchen, and private bathroom. Designed with custom-made furniture, natural materials, and a contemporary approach, they offer a stay that feels calm, comfortable, and easy from the very beginning.

Cardeal Neighbour |

Just around the corner from Cardeal, Confeitaria Alengarve is where the much-loved Pastel de Faro is created — a sweet symbol of the city, made with the traditional flavours of the Algarve and a recipe meant to be passed down through generations.

Founded in 1971 on Rua do Alportel, this historic pastry shop is also where we go every day to collect the traditional almond cookie we prepare for our guests.

A local tradition, a neighbour we are proud to have close, and one more way to share the flavours of Faro with every stay.
