Hi everyone,

the season is coming closer and I'd like to share some good news with you 😊:

This year, the massage offer is back!

Throughout the last season you've asked me about it quite a bit and we've found a way to make it possible, so ...
If you're interested, please just let me know the day before your arrival, to help us plan.
(Those of you who've been on a canoe trip with us in the past will recognize the friendly face that's gonna join me at PilgerPause to greet you. 💛💙💛)

We'll start into the new season on March 22.

Dear everyone, the season has only just ended and I'm both grateful for everyone who stayed with us and contributed to the camino-hostel-life here in our beautiful Fontoura - and I'm also already missing you all!
We had such wonderful, shared moments, lots of laughter and beautiful connections and it felt so alive that I'm really looking forward to starting into next year's season.
Yes, it's still a few months away and at the moment the hostel isn't cozy enough to be offering it to you but ... we'll be back in March for pilgrims with reservations, which isn't so far away. And from April on you'll be able to just drop in.
So even though it's not even Christmas yet: Be safe, enjoy the holidays and .... See you soon! 💛💙💛

Fresh figs, anyone?

Our once so tiny fig trees are bearing fruit in abundance and they're absolutely DELICIOUS!! 😋😋😋

And the best?
We have enough to share them with our pilgrim guests.

Last night we had some rain, but even before that, a few days ago, I didn't see any fires from above 😊.

Normally we open at 13:30 / 1:30 pm, but due to the heat, many of you are walking very early and arrive here ahead of time.
In that case - it's not 1:30 but you'd like to stay - please give me a call so I can tell you how to get in and make yourself at home.
We'd love to host you and completely understand the wish to get out of the sun.
