Between other ( more urgent) renovation work I really wanted to do something nice.
Something more elegant and less heavy then working with cement .
I couldnt wait to see what wás onder the thick brown layer of paint and fire smoke.
Several applies of paint remover, hours of scratching and sanding and this is the result till now.
I am thrilled. What do you think?
Next step for me ís to renovate the broken line (earthquake?) in the stone (the top and underpart ).

Very good week for all of you! X
Paolo’s holiday ís finished , this week I ll be mostly on the third floor of our new ( old ) purchased house, situated between our house and our barn : starting to refill and renovate the old walls meanwhile we wait till the broken wooden floors will be replaced by new ones.
Meanwhile i have also put my hands on the old fireplace. (I know, it will take at least 2 years before we can think of using the house, but I love experimenting, projecting, creating) , i am super excited. Soon more !

ICERAIN😭😭
This morning i comtrollerd directly our olivetrees: they were beautiful: full of healthy olives.
Till some hours ago…
A huge ice storm arrived and continued for at least 15 minutes. I just checked the trees again and we have lost at least half of the olives …😢😢😞😞
And we are just in July. Other ice storms can arrive, the olivefly (which we started to concure already 2 months ago, the reason of a bad harvest last year)…
Farmer life.
It isn’t easy .

After a beautiful week on Madeira Paolo and I are driving back from The Netherlands to Italy today.
So curious how the work on the roof is proceeding !
