Our Story
ASPA is a family business started 34 years ago, aiming to offer an alternative accommodation to travellers searching for centrality, convenience, autonomy and good value for money. ASPA studios offer one, two and even three double bedroom apartments with equipped kitchens, rain walk-in showers, high speed Wi-Fi, streaming boxes upon request, 42’ flat screen TV’s and a super central location.
ASPA is composed of 2 buildings (30meters from each other) located in the middle of an authentic and historical quarter, few steps away from attractions, restaurants and supermarkets.
We like to be different. Our studios were designed to look like little homes and less like hotel rooms; the furniture is Portuguese; the walls are decorated with local craftsmanship; the panoramic terrace is furnished as a lounge; yoga routines can be performed in the rooftop and garden; breakfast is freshly made from a selection of Portuguese products only; the meeting room is multifunctional and a quiet place to work; the wine cellar offers a selection of our favourite Portuguese wines and the garden is a hidden gem equipped for meals and relaxation. A mixture of modern and antique, in a warm informal atmosphere, committed to offer meaningful stays in a sustainable environment.
