Welcome to the Hostel on the Hill! The perfect place for surfers, hikers, mountainbikers and everyone who likes to enjoy the beauty of the South-West Algarve with it´s impressive beaches that are just around the corner. The Hostel is located in the traditional portuguese town Hortas do Tabual right in the National Park of the Costa Vicentina. We offer spacious rooms, two communal kitchens to prepa

re your own meals, a big seating area inside and plenty of terraces outside to chill in the sun and enjoy the view. We have a big garden with hammocks and a BBQ area where you can have one of our home made meals in good company. You can add breakfast to your stay or join in on some of the activities that are offered nearby like surfing courses, diving, SUP-Tours, hiking, mountainbiking, kayak tours, dolphin watching and a lot more. So just make a booking, come over and enjoy!

Explore the path less traveled! The Fisherman's trail seems to be the camino of the south. But the Via Algarviana takes you around a different corner.
From the coast to the spanish border trough the algarve mountains with spectacular views!
This trail passes right at our doorstep also:)
