This building, a beautiful exemple of portuguese “Pombalino” architecture style, was refurbished in 2014 preserving its old features and adding 12 comfortable and contemporary bedrooms with a trendy decoration suitable for travellers of the world, sophisticated but layed back. Ideally located to walk around Lisbon, the House is perfect for just hanging out in the living room and library or in our private Garden, surrounded by nature. About service, we can only say that our aim is making your stay memorable, taking care of your needs and helping you feel local. People say they like staying with us and we believe them.

• CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS •

Dear guests and friends,
After 7 years taking care of you, showing you the best of Portuguese hospitality and the wonders of Lisbon, we decided our building needed to stop for a while: this is the time for some needed renovations.

We will be closed for 8 months (until July/ August 2022) and will only accept reservations when we are sure we are ready to open.
We will keep you informed with some photos of the renovation in our website and on social media but we wanted to reassure you that the new Casa do Barao will keep the essence that you well know with some extras and wonderful new features, respecting the architecture and style of an 18th century building.
