Oh, it’s just a new website.

No, it’s not. It’s time. It’s money. It’s months of work, decisions, second-guessing and a little bit of anxiety. And it’s a big step for a small business like ours, where every change means a lot.

This Monday, we’re launching our new website. And somewhere along the way, I found myself going back to the beginning. Back to 2017, when I travelled to Germany with my four-month-old son and realized how difficult travelling with a baby could be. Then to Italy. Same.

Back to the idea that followed. The leap I took in 2018 when I quit my job and started Let’s go baby. The first families who trusted me. The challenges, the lessons, the changes and all the little steps that brought us here.

And the people who have been part of this journey, too. Over the years, several wonderful people have joined me, working part-time and helping me keep things moving, take care of our families and grow this little business. Let’s go baby may have started with me, but so much of what we’ve built along the way has been made possible by their help, dedication and support. And I’m incredibly grateful for that.

Since then, I’ve had two more children, grown the business, expanded our services and helped over 1,700 families from more than 30 countries.

Sometimes, when you’re busy running a small business, you don’t stop to look back. You’re always thinking about what’s next, what needs fixing, what could be better. But writing our new “About Us” page made me pause for a moment and realized just how much this little idea has grown.

And what a beautiful journey it has been.

We’re still a small, independent business. Still very much personal. Still trying to make family travel in Portugal a little easier, one family at a time.

The new website is just one more step in that journey. A fresh start, in a way, while staying true to what we’ve always been.

To every family who has trusted us and to every person who has helped me along the way, thank you for being part of our story. And if you’re only just finding us, welcome.

Not just airports, hotels or car rental offices… we deliver right to your door.

This family needed a rear-facing infant car seat for their newborn. After checking availability, we arranged delivery straight to their room, so they could get on the road safely. The car seat came fully equipped with an infant insert and harness pads, ensuring a snug and comfortable fit for their newborn.

Landing late in Lisbon and worried about a late delivery? Maybe your flight is delayed, you’re arriving after midnight and all you need is a crib ready for your baby to sleep in.

No worries. Just share your concern with us and we’ll find a solution.

In this case, we arranged the delivery directly with the Airbnb host during the afternoon, so the crib could be there and ready before the family arrived late at night.

We don’t see problems, we look for solutions and take straightforward action.

time to say goodbye to this family.

after a few days in lisbon, they’re heading off again and their trip started in porto.

while they were still there, we delivered their double stroller to the hotel reception, so it was already waiting for them when they arrived in lisbon.

no need to carry it between cities.
no waiting around.
just arrive and start exploring.

and this double stroller is a great one for lisbon: comfortable for the little ones and surprisingly easy to get around with.

When you rent a car with a car seat, what do you actually get?

We know this isn’t every rental car company. But this is a reality many families face: car seats stored on the floor, exposed to dirt and water, transported from car to car, with little information about the seat itself.

At Let’s go baby, we do things differently.

It’s not only about delivering a car seat. It’s about giving families access to quality products, properly selected and exactly as shown on our website.

You can choose the seat that best suits your child, your family and your car - with ISOFIX or seat belt installation, depending on what works best for you.

And when it comes to safety, our preference is clear: rear-facing for as long as possible.

Because renting a car seat shouldn’t mean accepting whatever happens to be available.

It should mean having a choice.
And knowing what you’re getting.

3 children. 3 car seats. And definitely not just any car seats.

Rear-facing for the two younger ones and forward-facing with a high-back booster for the oldest. Two seats with ISOFIX for quick installation and one installed with the car’s seat belt.

And the best part? We delivered the car seats directly from the car rental company - even before the actual car had arrived.

Now that’s convenient.

We don’t just buy car seats because we need more stock. And we don’t rent them just because we can.

We’re quite picky about the car seats we offer - we choose them carefully, and we clean them properly between every family. And yes, we clean the bits you can’t see too.

Because when you’re traveling with your kids, you already have enough to think about. You shouldn’t have to worry about whether the car seat is safe, suitable or clean. Car safety matters to us.

Last-minute stroller request after a family realized their toddler had officially gone on strike from walking 🥹

A quick delivery to the Belém area, a stroller with great wheels, super easy to fold and everyone was happy again. Pickup in a couple of days and no need to worry about taking extra baby gear back home.
