The trick is knowing where to start and where not to waste time.

No, the famous viewpoints are not off the list. But the time you go, and the way you get there, changes everything.

Lisbon rewards people who pay attention. The pastel de nata that has no English menu outside. The viewpoint that’s empty before 9am…

This is the day I’d build if I landed tomorrow.
