A simple flower that changed a country 🌹

On April 25th, 1974, as Portugal rose for democracy, people placed red carnations in the rifles of soldiers, a powerful gesture that turned a revolution into a peaceful movement.

No bullets, no violence, just a symbol of unity, hope, and the courage to begin again.

Today, the carnation remains a reminder of what freedom truly means, and how it can be won not only with strength, but with humanity.
