As the sun slowly drops towards the ocean, Marc Pradel and Tiger Finkel will fill the garden with the kind of music that’s simply better experienced in person. ☀️🎸

Of course, no one can replace our Italian pasta chef Dylan 🇮🇹🍝, but we’re looking for a chef who would love to become the go to chef for our events at Ocean House.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys creating memorable food experiences and can independently run the food side of our events.

What we’re looking for:

• Available for selected events throughout the year
• Able to source ingredients and manage food preparation independently
• Comfortable serving and selling food to guests
• Passionate about creating a warm and social atmosphere
• Experience with pop ups, catering, street food or event cooking is a plus
• Based in Portugal or able to travel to Ericeira

What we offer:

We fell hard for Ocean House in July 2024. 💙
Nine months of financial acrobatics later we finally moved in, April 2025.

Now it’s December and wow… what a ride. 🏎️

Running a guesthouse with zero experience and jumping straight into high season felt like learning to swim by being thrown into the deep end. Or as we’d say in Dutch ‘falling with your nose straight into the butter’. 🧈

It was chaotic, intense, beautiful and humbling all at once.
But we survived. And more than that.

We met guests who turned into friends. Friends who return, extend, and somehow make this place feel even more like home.

Somewhere along the way, Ocean House became our little paradise bubble. ✨🏡

Still can’t believe this is real.
