XII Mediterranean Diet Fair
In historic centre of Tavira from 3rd to 6th September

Why it's worth it: Tavira is the community UNESCO chose to represent Portugal when the Mediterranean Diet was inscribed as Intangible Cultural Heritage in December 2013, and once a year the town spends four days proving it earned that. The riverbank fills with a producers' market, tastings, showcooking, crafts, nutrition talks, guided walks and a garden of Mediterranean plants.

Festival F in Faro from Thursday 3 to Saturday 5 September

Why it's worth it: Eleven editions in, Festival F has settled into a description it gave itself and then lived up to: the last great festival of the summer. What makes it different from every other festival on this coast is that it does not build a site. It takes over the city. Stages go up inside the medieval walls of Vila Adentro, in the cathedral square, in the streets and on the waterfront, and you walk between them past people eating dinner on their own doorstep.

Our blue-eyed Coco is hiding under the covers. 💙🩶 She has been there for two days straight, which is excessive even for her.

She is having a lot of trouble eating again. 🥺 Because of this, yesterday we had to make another trip to the vet - our second visit in just two days. 🤦‍♀️

Her chronic feline gingivostomatitis has flared up severely. Even though we know this condition is very common in cats, it doesn't make it any easier to watch her go through it. Once the inflammation calms down, the vet will most likely need to remove all of her teeth. 😭

People say life is never boring with pets, but we would much rather spend our time cuddling, playing, and watching her & the others thrive, 😘 not spending our time at the vet clinics.

No dia 𝟮𝟵 𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗼, a Praia dos Cavacos transforma-se novamente no palco de uma das maiores festas do verão algarvio, reunindo famílias, amigos e visitantes para celebrarem mais um Sunset do ‘Banho Santo’, numa tarde/noite de música, convívio e amizade.

A partir 𝗱𝗮𝘀 𝟭𝟵𝗵𝟯𝟬 𝗲 𝗮𝘁𝗲́ 𝗱𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗮, a animação está garantida com as atuações de 𝗠𝗶𝗮𝘅, a abrir, e 𝗕𝘂𝗯𝗯𝗮 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀, a encerrar, num cenário único junto à Ria Formosa.

Unauthorized indoor activities detected. 🚨 Gaston 🖤 was explicitly told the indoor life in our accommodations wasn't for him. Gaston didn't care.
