Familien unter sich. 🌿☀️

Families among families. 🌿☀️

Since 2010, our summers have been all about families.

Kids are free to explore the Quinta, jump into the pool, make new friends and spend their days outside. And parents get time for a book by the pool, morning yoga or simply a little time to themselves.

Kids programme, shared dinners, family hikes and plenty of outdoor time included.

Viel draußen sein, neue Freunde finden, gemeinsam essen, entspannen, entdecken und einfach Sommer genießen.

So kann Familienurlaub aussehen. 💛

Sun on your face, barefoot through summer and straight into Quinta life. ☀️💦🌿

Kids playing, laughing and jumping into the pool. Morning yoga, meditation outdoors – and dads actually finding the time to relax with a book under the olive trees. 😎📖

Lots of time outside, new friends, good food, relaxing, exploring and simply enjoying summer.

This is what a family holiday can feel like. 💛

Manche Momente brauchen nicht viele Worte. 🌒✨

Some moments don’t need many words. 🌒✨

High above Monchique, looking across the Serra towards the west coast – with the solar eclipse unfolding in front of us.

A pretty special moment of this summer. 💛

A little recap from last week’s Family Week. 🌿☀️
Mornings with clouds hanging low in the Monchique valley, little adventures, archery, creative afternoons and of course good food around the table.
Another week filled with time outside, new friendships and shared experiences – for the kids as much as for the parents. 💛

-------------------
Sometimes it's worth looking at things from a different perspective. 🤓

From above, everything looks calm. The pool, our old manor house, the yoga shala, surrounded by nature... and families creating another week of summer memories together.

Our Family Weeks are in full swing, and it's wonderful to see this place come alive with so many familiar and new faces. ☀️💚

❤️ ❤️

A circle by the pool.

Waiting for stories. For laughter. For connection.

Some of the best evenings begin with something this simple.

This is one of our favourite times of the year.

Our climbing rose is in full bloom, gracefully framing a window of our historic manor house. Day by day, more blossoms appear, transforming stone, brick, and nature into a living work of art.

A beautiful reminder that the simplest moments are often the most memorable.

✨ Natural beauty. A little romance in everyday life.
