One of those Olhão evenings.

The scent of warm summer air. A courtyard beneath the trees. Jazz drifting into the night. Conversations lingering long after the last note.

Yesterday evening at República 14, Projecto Colombiano reminded us why we love this town so much.

Because beyond the islands, the markets and the Atlantic light, Olhão is also a place of culture, creativity and unexpected moments shared under the stars.

And sometimes, that’s all you need for a perfect evening.

Casa W Almirante is one of them.

Hidden in the historic heart of Olhão, this restored fisherman’s house was imagined as a quiet retreat shaped by Atlantic light, whitewashed walls and the slow rhythm of the Ria Formosa.

Mornings begin on the rooftop with the sound of seagulls and ferries leaving for the islands. Afternoons drift between shaded streets, long lunches by the water and salt carried by the ocean breeze.

Inside, every detail was designed to feel simple, calm and deeply comfortable. Natural textures, soft light, handcrafted touches and the feeling of being instantly at home.
