Casa Fuzetta was originally built by Dr Carlos Fuzeta, a local lawyer, philosopher and philanthropist. In June 2016, loving and extensive renovation works were completed to transform this classical gentleman's residence into a unique and magical private home.

“LOVE & FRIENDSHIP” has been the house toast at from our very first dinner welcoming friends to share this special place.

Last week, brought a very special group together for a Rose Alchemy retreat.

The photos can’t really do justice for the magic that was created through a house full of open hearts and laughter from dawn to dusk.

THE IMPACT OF THOSE WHO COME BEFORE US…

This is my Norwegian grandfather, Halfdan Mustad. Sadly, he died young, from a weak heart that couldn’t keep up with his enormous height. (Almost 7’ tall.) However, whilst alive, it seems he was a man who lived life to the max.

He travelled across North Africa, South America and beyond. We’re talking 100years ago…

The story goes he even mined the ruby he gave my grandmother as her first informal engagement ring.

Guests at will spot various pieces I have inherited from him. Controversially, some of my favourites are the old leather suitcases he used to travel with, which now live in the library.

Over the years, they have faded but as a child I remember them laden with colourful stickers from his adventures.

In honour of my grandfather, I asked to create a first series of designs mixing vintage luggage stickers with a touch of whimsy.

With the magic of .com we now have them as stickers to share with our guests. I hope they like our old school memorabilia as much as I do.

I think MorFar would be proud. ❤️🇳🇴

LUCKY US 💙 last week a small group of our wonderful Workationers had the opportunity to meet with for a tour of her studio and gallery. To say that every visit is an inspiration is an understatement. It is always a joy and privilege to witness someone thriving in their creativity and beauty.

ESCAPE the never-ending winter after Christmas. JOIN ME for one of the special events I will host at Casa Fuzetta in January and February

We’re unbelievably lucky and grateful that has been recognised over the years by and others as one of the world’s best retreat venues.

To ensure I always have first hand understanding of what it takes to envision, promote and hold space, each year I host two very special events - and this year I am introducing a third new event.

5-12 JANUARY - I will host our sixth HEAL THE HEALERS retreat. Dedicated to the women retreat leaders, therapists, chefs, teachers and more who spend the year looking after others. This is my opportunity to offer you time, space, care, inspiration and fun to start the year rested and re-energised. I’m delighted to share that this year of will be my special guest to lead our daily yoga practices.

Always kept to a small group, two spaces remain.

28 JAN TO 18 FEBRUARY - I will host our fourth season of WORKATIONS. We welcome individual room bookings for a minimum of 7nights. Talented and inspiring guests from around the world, different disciplines and across generations always seem to gather. Last year, we were completely sold out - I couldn’t even spare a bed for my husband to stay! Pricing assumes single occupancy, with the option to invite a friend or partner to join you for all or just some of your stay.

Options at different price points remain across the dates.

19-23 FEBRUARY - I will host our first Workation dedicated to Venue Owners. I will happily share insights and learnings from the creation and development of Casa Fuzetta, but more importantly it is intended to foster a community of mutual support, collaboration and knowledge sharing.

A wonderful group of venue owners are starting to gather.
